The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS (formerly Body Positive) was founded in 1990 by Kirk Baxter. The Center’s vision, “leading the fight against HIV and AIDS” is carried out through our mission of reducing infection, improving quality of life and contributing to worldwide research. THE ARIZONA OPERA
Arizona Opera, originally the Tucson Opera Company, was founded in 1971 by a dedicated group of opera enthusiasts. Its inaugural season featured two performances of Rossini’s "The Barber of Seville" in Tucson and by the 1976–1977 season, Arizona Opera was performing complete seasons in both Tucson and Phoenix. Arizona Opera now offers in-school touring productions and numerous outreach events, as well as produces five operas each year in both communities. Proud of its dual city presence, Arizona Opera is one of the few companies in the United States to serve multiple cities.

PHOENIX CHAPTER OF THE ALS ASSOCIATION
The Phoenix Chapter of the ALS Association is leading the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. Although the cause of ALS is not completely understood, the last decade has brought a wealth of new scientific understanding about the disease that provides hope for the future.

SAVE THE FAMILY
Save the Family has been serving homeless families with children in Arizona for more than 20 years. Founded in 1988, Save the Family was created to help homeless families become self-sufficient. In 1989 the agency acquired four housing units and served the first four families who were referred from a local domestic violence shelter.

THE POINT FOUNDATION
Point Foundation provides scholarships, mentorship, leadership training and hope for students of merit who have been marginalized. Additionally, Point Foundation provides programs that affect social change by challenging attitudes that contribute to social stigma and its resulting prejudice, which is often experienced by those in the LGBT community.
